2. Information we collect

When you use the inquiry form, we collect:

  • your name and email address;
  • your organization, if provided;
  • the message you send; and
  • form timing and anti-abuse data.

The website also processes IP addresses, request times, browser information, requested pages, referring pages, and connection data. The contact form uses shortened hashes of IP and email addresses for rate limiting. These records expire after about one hour.

3. Why we use it

We use this information to:

  • review and respond to your inquiry;
  • operate and secure the website;
  • prevent spam and abuse; and
  • meet legal and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell personal information or use contact-form information to build advertising profiles.

4. Consent and withdrawal

Sending the inquiry form gives us consent to use the submitted information for the purposes listed above. Contact the Privacy Officer to withdraw consent. We retain information required for legal or security records.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers for hosting, network security, email delivery, and website operations. They receive the information needed to provide those services.

Providers can process information outside Canada. We disclose information to comply with the law or prevent misuse of the website.

6. Retention

We keep inquiries for correspondence, security, and legal records, then delete or anonymize them.

7. Safeguards

We protect personal information with encrypted transmission, access controls, abuse controls, and restricted administrative access.

8. Access and correction

You can request access to your personal information or ask us to correct it. We verify identity before responding and handle requests under applicable privacy law.

9. Questions and complaints

Send questions or complaints to the Privacy Officer. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

10. Changes to this policy

Changes to this policy will appear on this page with a new effective date.
